Operator Notes:

A shorter, handier version of the M60 GPMG. It's barrel is 3.6 inches shorter, the bipod is on the gas tube and the carrying handle is on the barrel making for much easier barrel changes. It also has a front pistol grip and weighs 4 lbs. less than the basic M60. It incorporates a number of improvements over the original M60. Used by US Navy SEALs and US Marine Corp Reconnaissance units. Never came into widespread use in spite of it's usefulness. The M60 GPMGs in the US Military are being replaced with either the M249 SAW (light machine gun) or the M240B GPMG.
