Operator Notes:

An interesting drum fed weapon. Calico's double helical drum fed magazines have a much larger capacity than typical box magazines. Magazine changes are also relatively quick. Though not as robust or sturdy as might be needed for an assault firearm, it has proven very reliable. It is well balanced and easily controllable. Since the rear iron sight aperture is part of the magazine, you do not get a fixed iron sight accuracy, though optical sights can be fitted. This weapon never quite took off in popularity in spite of its' many innovations and quality manufacture. The SOF team used it because it was the best they could find in Pakistan for that particular mission. It performed well enough for the team. It is interesting that a Pakistani arms' dealer had this particular lot of selective fire, American manufactured weapons.
